FHT seeks practitioners' insights for diabetes prevention

Future Health Technologies invites health experts and medical practitioners to share their experience and views on digital health interventions for the prevention of diabetes in Singapore.

by Geraldine Ee Li Leng

Non-communicable diseases like type 2 diabetes are a very real and growing problem, with considerable individual, societal, and economic burdens. The Mobile Health Intervention team within the Future Health Technologies (FHT) programme is keen to learn from experts, professionals, and key stakeholders about their experiences with digital health interventions for diabetes prevention in Singapore. What’s good, what’s bad, and what might the future hold for health interventions delivered via smartphones?

We are looking for experts and professionals working in the area of diabetes prevention in Singapore to provide important insights into the development of a new lifestyle coaching app for people at risk of type 2 diabetes. This study is conducted by the Singapore-ETH Centre and Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore.
