Rethinking the future of health tech at FHT Open Day

FHT held its first-ever Open Day on 11 July, showcasing solutions that bring high-value care to the community.

On Tuesday, 11 July, FHT researchers put on an exhibition of the best research, tools and scientific knowledge at the first-ever FHT Open Day. Coming just one day after the CREATE Symposium, the event still attracted consierable interest, with over 80 guests and 50 researchers in attendance.

FHT Open Day was an excellent opportunity to discuss the future of health technology and how to make health more community-oriented, and to network among the most well-informed experts in the field.

FHT would like to thank Prof. E Shyong Tai, FHT Programme Co-​Director & Principal Investigator of Mobile Health Interventions; Dr Weng Mooi Tan, Director of Programmes, Integrated Health and Co-Head, Integrated Health Promotion, MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT); and Prof. Robert JT Morris, Chief Technology Strategist, MOHT, for giving each of the keynote speeches. Also, not to be left out are are grateful for SEC Director Prof. Dr Gisbert Schneider for giving the opening address, and FHT Programme Director Prof. Dr Nicole Wenderoth for giving an overview of FHT’s research.

Last of all, FHT thanks all guests who came to engage with us, and all FHT researchers, for the hard work in showcasing their important research for two consecutive days.
