Akshaye SHENOI
PhD Researcher of Mobile Health Interventions
Akshaye Shenoi is a PhD Researcher in the Future Health Technologies (FHT) programme at the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC). As part of the Mobile Health Interventions module, he will focus on designing sensing systems for smartphones and wearables that aim to detect chronic health conditions like subclinical depression.
Akshaye holds a Master's degree from the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore. His academic background encompasses systems research, machine learning, and signal processing. During his three-year tenure as a researcher at the university, he worked towards enhancing the reliability, security, and privacy of low-powered wireless sensor devices.
Presently, his research is centered around the application of machine learning algorithms to health data collected from sensors. His ultimate objective is to develop non-invasive and ubiquitous health-sensing systems that promote health longevity and improve mental well-being.
