Dr Nana Tian

Postdoctoral Researcher of Early Detection of Health Risks and Prevention
As a postdoc researcher at the Singapore-ETH Centre’s Future Health Technologies programme, Dr Tian currently designs tools that bridge immersive technology, neuroscience, and real-world health solutions. Her work focuses on decoding cognitive health through spatial navigation and aging. Dr Tian is leading the experimental study and development of MIND, a next-generation navigation app for real-world cognitive research. Parallelly, she investigates EEG aperiodic activity to uncover neural signatures of spatial navigation in healthy aging, while building scalable data pipelines to transform raw behavioral and neuroimaging data (e.g., fMRI, EEG) into actionable insights.
Research interests
Her research interests include:
- Virtual Reality: Cybersickness, Game design, Embodiment, Emotion.
- Human Computer Interaction: Serious Games, Interaction Design.
- NeuroScience: Mild Cognitive impairment, Dementia.
