Hao Ping LIN
PhD Researcher of Connected Rehabilitation Technology and Assistive Devices
Hao-Ping is a PhD researcher in the Connected Rehabilitation Technology and Assistive Devices module of the Future Health Technologies (FHT) programme at the Singapore-ETH Centre since May 2021.
Prior to joining the FHT, he was involved in projects related to physiological data analysis in overtraining syndrome and hypoglycemia. More specifically, in his master thesis, he applied deep learning approaches to tackle the missing RR-intervals in heart rate recordings. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 2018, and his Master’s in Sport and Exercise Science from the Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2021.
He is passionate about integrating artificial intelligence with healthcare studies. Currently, he is leveraging neural network approaches to extract features from signal in electromyography (EMG) with the aim of improving the user-centric rehabilitation devices.
