Karolina MINTA

Postdoctoral Researcher of Early Detection of Health Risks and Prevention

Dr Karolina Minta is a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Future Health Technologies programme at the Singapore-ETH Center, where she associates the deficits in navigation ability (captured by performance in the videogame’s spatial tasks) with fall risk and neurological biomarkers in patients with mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.

Prior to joining the Singapore-ETH Centre, Karolina was working on the development of fluid biomarkers for early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia, as well as for outcome prediction following traumatic brain injury and shunt surgery. In addition, she was studying the role of pathological protein aggregations in the human brain tissues from various neurological disorders.
